We started eating Whistling Thistle Farm veggies the first year they moved to Iowa from Wisconsin and we haven't stopped. Their weekly boxes are so fresh, colorful and diverse. When it comes to the term "food is medicine", we are eating our natural vitamins every day with their produce.

Our mission is to bring flavor-packed, nutrient dense, wholesome food to our neighborhood and local communities. We believe in contributing to the cosmic choir by sustaining diverse life with our farming methods. There is a long-lasting system that nature already uses, and we want to learn and utilize what we can from nature. We also want to contribute to the growth of small-scale farms that are bringing back better quality food for people of all demographics. Our farm focuses on everyday produce varieties, with a nice splash of unique heirlooms. We also grow all sorts of delicious herbs that are used for tea blends and culinary practices. We have no use for chemicals with our farming methods. When we have something wrong happen to our crops, we know that it is likely our soil is missing a component that is making that crop stress. Help join us in our mission for more healthy, affordable produce by signing up for a share this season! Peas, Stephen and Nellie
